Rob Taylor
Having begun my property career in 1995 I have been lucky enough to have, not
only, worked for some of the region’s leading agents but have done so across the
entire North East as far as and including the Scottish Borders.
I consider myself very lucky to do what I do. For the last 30 years I have seen and
helped sell some amazing properties from period country homes through to
suburban family properties, characterful townhouses and contemporary city living
pads, gaining so much knowledge and experience along the way.
Now as a co-founder of Symonds Taylor my love for what I do has been taken to a
new level and my desire to provide the very best and most experienced estate
agency experience to my clients reinvigorated.
As Managing Partner of Symonds Taylor, I am very proud of the exciting new brand
we have created and the exceptional team I work with. We all share the same goal,
which has family at its heart, and is to ensure we provide the very best level of
service in all aspects of what we do to create the very best property journey for
everyone we work with.

Helen Symonds-Taylor
With a 30-year career in various industries, I bring an alternative wealth of
knowledge, expertise and vision to the team. As a co-founder of Symonds Taylor
when the opportunity arose, I recognised the perfect moment for a family venture, so
joined forces with Rob to build on his, and the teams, extensive property experience
to create this exciting new & high calibre brand.
I focus on providing robust behind-the-scenes support, ensuring that the team can
perform their roles to the highest standard. With a particular love of technology I am
always looking for new ways to give our client’s homes the edge and my
commitment to operational excellence enhances the customer experience, ensuring
that every client’s property journey is smooth and successful.
Simra Kaleem
In 2015 I started my property career with an Apprenticeship in Residential Sales for a
Newcastle estate agent. Since then and over a decade later I have worked for
several leading businesses across the North East gaining a great deal of knowledge
& expertise, especially in selling homes in the middle and upper markets.
Being a native of Newcastle, I have a deep knowledge of the city, combined with a
desire and dedication to providing the best customer service. As an Associate at
Symonds Taylor I’m the person that will be with you from day one. From valuing your
property, working through every aspect of its marketing campaign to finding you
somewhere to move to.
Our exciting new brand, marketing approach and experience allows me work closely

Madeleine Horner
I am a compassionate property professional, dedicated to ensuring people have the
best possible experience in their property journey—whether they are looking to rent,
searching for the perfect property to buy, or are selling their home.
My real estate journey began in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, Australia, as a
Lettings Executive, which later evolved into a sales role as a Sales Assistant. Where
I assisted top agents with the sales of luxury properties, learning from some of the
industry’s best professionals along the way.
In the fast-paced world of real estate, I take pride in delivering results with efficiency
and precision and enjoy working effectively as part of a team.
In my role as Sales and Lettings Negotiator for Symonds Taylor, I combine my
passion for creativity, precision, and a client-focused approach with my
comprehensive experience in both lettings and sales. My enthusiasm for property is
